Vision therapy, sometimes referred to as Integrated Cognitive Orthoptic Therapy, is administered by an optometrist and is not used to treat refract error.

Besides the commonly known Progressive prescription lenses, there is also a type of contact lens that enables us to clearly read objects at our habitual reading distance, intermediate objects such as a laptop screen, while being able to also look at distant objects clearly. Multifocal contact lens is designed for clear vision near through far without a need of glasses.
